Lucy Jane's first 19th C. commission was for a full set of under things (minus the corset), a day dress, and a ballgown, all done in time for the reenactment event of the Battle of Resaca GA.
The day dress is almost done. It should be complete tomorrow around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, barring any bizarre catastrophes.
But the ballgown, the hardest thing to make technically, is finished. I thought you might want to see it.

ReplyDeleteRe: Gratitude list. I think that's a fabulous idea. I've just let mine continue to pile up from the beginning; I think I show two weeks in the sidebar but when I click on it I can see all of them. But monthly archiving is a great idea!

ReplyDeleteAHA! I bet if I had played longer with the settings I would have found that option. But it was faster to ask you! ;) I like keeping it semi-limited in the sidebar. I don't want it to get TOO long. So I think I will make it set to two weeks but still copy and post the archives for fun. :) Thanks!
