Finally Found That Thing About Jane Austen...

So years and years ago, I was talking in a post about how I had found my ancestral link to Jane Austen herself and how tickled I was over it.  But I couldn't explain it in the post, because the format was all wonky and other reasons, so I kinda gave it up for lost and told you all that you'd just have to take my word for it.

Well, the other day I was going through some papers and I found my big ole stacks of genealogy research (did you know that before I had kids, I filled in 1,000 names on my family tree in less than 2 years?!).  So I converted the document I had been looking for into an image file so that you could finally see the lineage.

Voila!

    1. Doesn't it, though? ;)
You ought to see the rest of the list of famous people I have common ancestors with. I wish the subscription wasn't so expensive or I'd still be doing the research. I made use of it that year, however, so I'll be content with that. :)
There are 9 US presidents, including the Roosevelts, and a slew of other authors... James M. Barrie, Louisa May Alcott, Emerson, Tennyson and Lucy Maud Montgomery. Also in the mix is Geoffrey Chaucer (my 22nd Great Grandfather, according to the databases!), Elvis, Lucille Ball, John Wayne, and Frank and Jesse James.
Hurrah for brilliant writers, entertainers, and a couple of black sheep! HAHA!
