I thought about waiting until I reached 50 followers before hosting a giveaway. But so many of my other blogging friends are hosting giveaways on their blogs (2 Bags Full and The Feathered Nest, just to name a couple) that I got so inspired and just couldn't wait. 41 is close enough to 50 anyway, right? :)
So here is what I made for you:
In pretty peacock blues and greens, this crocheted purse is approx 8" wide and 7" high (ish). The strap is approx 2 feet long from purse edge to the top of the "curve", so it hits the average person around waist/upper hip level. (I'm short, only 5'2", so it hits me mid-hip.) It features a silver and crystal butterfly embellishment in the lower corner.
The butterfly is courtesy of my Aunt's random jewelry findings that she gave to me a few months ago. |
Yes, I am very short. :) |
You may enter by commenting below. You are allowed up to 3 entries. I will have Miss Emily-bug help me draw a winning name on AUGUST 1ST. Best of luck!
Oh, and I have been busy getting things cleaned up and ready for me to go back to Destin Beach for a few days next week, so you haven't missed Poetry Wednesday, Go Here Thursday or Frank Friday this week. I plan to get those up by tomorrow at the very latest, just as soon as I get this mountain of laundry put away and my beach bag packed!
Beautiful Purse! I wanna enter! :) (trying this again since apparently before it didn't take my comment)

ReplyDeleteHi Jenny - you have created a beautiful purse to share with your friends! I'm here to show the love (!!!) but do not enter me in your fabulous contest. I think that lovely treasure should go to someone who does not knit as you and I LOVE to do. I will be back to say congrats to the LUCKY winner of this incredible purse. And - congrats on reaching 41 followers. (I can remember when I had only 3!!)
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!

Awww! Thanks for your sweet words, Vicki! I understand what you mean about sharing the crafting love with others who are less inclined to spend an afternoon tangled up in yarn as we love to do! ;)
